BLASTSCOUT® RADAR 12 holes measured in 90 seconds

About Bright Scan

Bright Scan digitizes the blasting process, consolidating data from every source into one view. It surfaces deviations and key indicators so teams can validate execution, act on real problems and improve blast safety and performance.

03 The numbers

The numbers so far

Source: Bright Scan measurements, 5 mine sites, Oct – Dec 2025.
USD 604,000+

potential savings identified from overdrilling.

25,000 meters drilled that added nothing to the blast design.

32

high-temperature alerts raised for preventive action.

Across more than 82,000 blastholes measured.

40%

04 What it does

What Bright Scan does

Compare results across periods, areas and conditions. Every measurement is captured, centralized and kept available for historical review.

See planned parameters against actual results, and catch anomalies in time to correct them before they affect the outcome.

Track actual explosives consumption against the key process indicators, and find where the operation can be optimized.

Get concrete guidance for the next decision, based on the process analysis and the deviations detected.

05 In the field

06 Features

With Bright Scan, your teams decide in real time — in the field and in the control room.

01

Near real-time alerts

Critical alerts reach the operation as soon as connectivity allows.

02

The right information for every user

Each role sees the indicators, alerts and analysis it needs — nothing else.

03

Early detection of deviations

An integrated view of the operation that surfaces deviations early enough to correct them.

07 Integration in the field

Bright Scan consolidates information from the tools, systems and teams already working on site.

One view

01

Native digital tools

Takes data directly from other Enaex field developments, such as BlastScout and Blast Site Watch.

02

External providers

Brings in external data and systems to extend analysis and continuous optimization.

03

Direct coordination

Enaex and customer teams work in one shared environment — reviewing plans and results without barriers of distance or format.

08 Implementation

A phased rollout that keeps the mine running while the platform goes live.

Phase 01

Deployment and training

We integrate with site equipment and third-party software, and train your teams before go-live.

Phase 02

Trial operation

A pilot period to calibrate the mine’s processes and adjust metrics in real time.

Phase 03

Monitoring and support

Periodic technical reviews with our mining specialists, to confirm the implementation is delivering.

09 Media

Documentation and audiovisual material

See the platform running on real blast data, and get the technical documentation for your team.

Transcript

The Enaex Bright ecosystem, module by module: Bright Scan — excellence and safety in execution; Bright Blast — optimized fragmentation results; Bright Fleet — improved use of equipment and on-time operation; Bright Care — care for communities and infrastructure. Then Bright Scan in the field: an engineer measures a blasthole on the bench and the platform pins its GPS position and hole depth to the hole, with the explosives loaded and the yield per truck for the blast; every blasthole on the drilled bench is ringed with its own depth, water and temperature readout. In the control room the team reviews the master plan — weekly and monthly plan control — the overdrilling cost, bench condition control (water conditions, temperature control and reactive rock, over- and under-drilling depth) and standards compliance for length, stemming and explosives distribution. The cut closes on Bright Blast: AI over the pit combining hardness prediction, bench condition and fragmentation results, with the design based on the estimated hardness of the rock and improved adherence to the target fragmentation.
